
Selfie Mishap in Italy
The visitor allegedly stepped backward to take a selfie inside the Uffizi Gallery in Italy, accidentally bumping into and slightly damaging a painting, CE Report quotes ANSA.
According to the museum, staff immediately intervened. The visitor has been identified and, according to reports, will be charged.
The painting—a 1700s work titled Portrait of Ferdinando de' Medici, Grand Prince of Tuscany by Anton Domenico Gabbiani—suffered "minor damage" and has already been removed for restoration, the museum confirmed.
