North America’s largest Turkish cultural festival opened Friday in Chicago with a traditional Ottoman military band parade and speeches by dignitaries including Turkish Ambassador to the US Sedat Onal and Azerbaijani Ambassador Khazar Ibrahim. The three-day event at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center features over 200 stands offering traditional food, crafts, and cultural displays. Turkish Airlines will award 10 round-trip tickets to Türkiye to early registrants.
