Renowned Bulgarian actor Pavel Poppandov will be honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 12th Golden Linden Film Festival, announced festival founder and director Magdalena Ralcheva, CE Report quotes BTA

The 2025 edition of the festival will run from May 31 to June 4.

Poppandov, born in Sofia in 1946, is celebrated as one of the most iconic figures in Bulgarian cinema, with nearly 100 film and television roles. A graduate of the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts, he continues to appear in movies, TV series, and on stage. He is also a co-founder of Sofia's Vazrazhdane Theatre.

Ralcheva praised him as a beloved and respected star of Bulgaria’s cinematic golden age.
