A cultural diplomacy event titled "From the Flower Bridge to the Press Museum – Pages of History" was held Tuesday at the Palace of Parliament in Bucharest to commemorate 35 years since the symbolic "Flower Bridge" between Romania and the Republic of Moldova. Senator Cristian Niculescu-Tagarlas emphasized the event as a tribute to a key moment in Romanian-Moldovan ties and announced a legislative initiative for establishing a Romanian Press Museum. The Senate has already passed the bill, which now awaits approval from the Chamber of Deputies.

A joint declaration to create a Romania–Moldova visual archive was also signed, reinforcing commitment to cultural unity and cooperation. AGERPRES Director General Claudia Nicolae showcased a photo exhibition commemorating the Flower Bridge, calling it a reminder of how ideals of the past have become today's normality.

The event featured performances of the national anthems and choral recitals, and was attended by dignitaries from both countries, including parliamentarians and foreign ambassadors.
