Hollywood star Sylvester Stallone tells his story without gloves in the highly anticipated memoir "The Steps," which will be released simultaneously worldwide in October.

Sylvester "Sly" Stallone's adventurous life is combined with messages of hope, positivity, and resilience, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

For the first time, the creator and star of the Rocky and Rambo series, one of the most revered actors, writers, and directors of all time, offers readers an intimate and revealing look at his personal journey.

In "The Steps" he shares stories of a difficult childhood, of bullying and mistreatment, and of his struggle to find himself and his potential, facing and overcoming life's challenges, step by step,

The title, “The Steps,” refers to the 72 steps Rocky takes at the Philadelphia Museum of Art in the first film in the series, and they provide the narrative framework in which Stallone tells his story to inspire readers.

"I've established myself as an actor, a writer, a director. But this book is my testament. It's an expression of what I want my legacy to be. I'm going to dust off my old blue scarf and my cardboard hat and pour everything I know about life into the pages of this book, now that I'm much older," Stallone says.

"What have I learned about life? About war? About 'the stairs'? Simple. The excitement of it all, of climbing, of still standing when the bell rings. That's why I'm writing this book. I want to take all of that and run and climb those stairs again, find those moments and get up," he says, reports KosovaPress.

Born in 1946 in New York City, Stallone has overcome early challenges to build a legendary career spanning decades, combining action, drama and personal storytelling.
