Maneskin frontman Damiano David's first solo album in the new stage of his career will come out on May 16, his entourage said.

Funny Little Fears is the title of the first solo album by David, who is on a break from the worldbeating Roman rock band, CE Report quotes ANSA.

The album, which will be released by Sony Music Italy/Epic Records in physical and digital format in the double CD and vinyl version, is composed of 14 tracks.

The new recording project began with the theatricality of Silverlines (produced by Labrinth), continued with the energy of Born With a Broken Heart and with the intensity of the latest single Next Summer: three very different songs that highlighted the versatility of the artist and gave the public a taste of this album.

"I've always been afraid of heights, of the fact that at any moment the ground will split beneath my feet and in a second everything will disappear.

"I've been afraid of the darkness, an immensity that I can't see or understand, that could drag me down if I didn't pay attention where I put my feet.

"I've been afraid of myself, of asking for too much, of chasing something that I didn't even know if I really wanted.

And honestly sometimes I'm still afraid, but I wrote myself a manual.

I hope you find it useful too. I called it Funny Little Fears. With love, Damiano", is the artist's dedication.

Meanwhile, the anticipation is growing for the World Tour 2025 that will see Damiano busy with over 30 dates in Europe, Australia, North America, South America and Asia.

The first Italian date is on October 7 at the Unipol Forum in Milan, while the date in Rome on October 11 at the Palazzo dello Sport is sold out, which doubles, with a second date on October 12.
