38th Edition of Kinomania Film Festival Opens in Sofia

The 38th edition of the Kinomania Film Festival opened in Sofia Wednesday evening. In his opening remarks, Culture Minister Nayden Todorov said there can't be many cultural events in Bulgaria that have survived as long as Kinomania: since 1987. "It is a phenomenal festival because what you will see is not the box office hits but what has the most artistic value," the Minister added, CE Report quotes BTA

Kinomania started in 1987 as the World Cinema Panorama. Throughout the years, it has gained strong recognition and a loyal audience. The programme of each edition premieres some of the best examples of the world film industry.
