Sofia Opera Wagner Festival to Be Opened with Richard Wagner's Opera "Lohengrin"

The premiere of Richard Wagner's opera Lohengrin by director Plamen Karatlov will open Sofia Opera Wagner Festival on June 13, the Sofia Opera said on Thursday. The festival will last until June 23, CE Report quotes BTA

It will be performed under the batons of Constantin Trinks (June 13) and Evan Alexis Christ (June 23). Violeta Dimitrov will be conductor of the choir, Hans Kudlich will take care of the scenography in collaboration with Sven Jonke, Gudrun Geiblinger, Nela Stoyanova, Kristiyan Stoyanov, while Mario Dice will be costume designer.
