Weather Alert: Code Yellow Issued for Extreme Cold Across the Country

The National Weather Administration (ANM) has issued a Code Yellow warning for exceptionally cold weather, in effect until Monday, February 24, covering most of the country, CE Report quotes Agerpres

Meteorologists predict freezing temperatures at night and in the morning, with lows between -18°C and -10°C. In the southern, eastern, and central regions, temperatures will remain below zero even during the day, with highs ranging from -6°C to 0°C.

The warning applies to Bucharest and numerous counties, including Alba, Arges, Bacau, Brasov, Cluj, and others, as well as parts of Arad, Bihor, Caras-Severin, Satu Mare, and Timis. Residents are advised to take precautions against the extreme cold.
