Tod’s searching for new CEO
John Galantic, the chief executive officer of Tod's, has left the Italian fashion group after less than two years in the role, according to Bloomberg.
Galantic, who took the position in September 2024, left the company at the end of April, a Tod’s representative told Bloomberg, citing personal reasons. The company has not yet named a successor, CE Report quotes ANSA.
Before joining Tod’s, the American executive spent around 16 years at Chanel, where he held several positions, including head of the United States division.
Galantic became CEO of Tod’s after the company was delisted from the Italian stock exchange.
The group, famous for its loafers, is controlled by the Della Valle family, which owns 54% of the capital, while 36% is held by L Catterton, a major consumer-focused private equity company created in 2016 through the merger of Catterton and L Capital, the investment fund backed by luxury giant LVMH and the Arnault Group.
