Moldova hosts four-day furniture and home design exhibition
The exhibition “Expo Mobila & Home Sweet Home 2025” was inaugurated today at the Moldexpo Center in the capital. For four days, residents and visitors of Chișinău will be able to explore, on a unique platform, the latest trends in interior design, modern materials, and clever solutions for every space, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES.
Around 50 companies from Moldova, Romania, Ukraine, and other countries are presenting visitors with a wide range of products, from modular furniture and elegant upholstery to professional equipment and production accessories.
At the inauguration, Natalia Selevestru, State Secretary of the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization, stated that the exhibition brings Moldovan furniture manufacturers together in one place, showcasing their creativity, resilience, and the durability of their products.
“Every local manufacturer is extremely important, and we try to include all production industries in the national strategies and policies we develop. I am convinced that the discussions, collaborations, and projects launched at this exhibition will lead to lasting partnerships and increase sales, including exports,” said Selevestru.
Eduard Scutaru, Executive Director of the Union of Furniture Manufacturers of Moldova, said that the furniture industry is one of the main drivers of the national economy, with Moldovan products sold both domestically and abroad, especially in the European Union.
Zinaida Popa, Director of the Moldexpo Center, invited residents and visitors to attend the exhibition, highlighting the special offers prepared by participants.
“These exhibitions remind us of home and family. For four days, we will not only see furniture and accessories but also have the opportunity to be advised by specialists in the field,” Popa emphasized.
Expo Mobila is not only a source of inspiration for visitors but also a business platform for professionals, who can find tools, equipment, and state-of-the-art materials for furniture production, finishes, and design projects.
The “Expo Mobila & Home Sweet Home 2025” exhibition will be open until Sunday, November 23. Entry is free.
