
Poland’s Inflation Within NBP Targets
Andrzej Domanski stated on Thursday that Poland’s inflation is expected to remain within the range accepted by the National Bank of Poland (NBP), CE Report quotes PAP
The country’s statistical office, GUS, reported that consumer prices rose 3.1% year-on-year and 0.3% month-on-month in July 2025, slightly above forecasts.
Domanski added that the government currently has no plans to revise this year’s budget or deficit forecasts. On monetary policy, he said decisions on interest rates are up to the Monetary Policy Council, but noted that Poland’s rates remain high.
