In an increasingly competitive fashion market, a new name is rising strongly from Kosovo to the international scene. Navy Suits is the newest premium suiting brand that was born from the many years of experience of industry professionals.

Owners Mentor Mehmeti, Besim Shylemaja and Robert Hoti, all three with a rich background in international fashion, aim to bring about a revolution in the way formal wear is perceived by Albanians, both at home and abroad, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

Mentor Mehmeti, one of the founders of Navy Suits, has spoken about KosovaPress the journey and vision behind this name.

With 25 years of experience in this industry, the three of them have worked with international brands, Swedish and Italian brands, with L-Evropiana and Reda material for both men and women.

"Navy Suits is a new brand in Kosovo. We have 25 years of experience in the fashion industry, we have worked with international brands, but we have also worked with some other brands, including international Swedish brands, but since the pandemic we have started our new brand Navy Suits, it is a premium suits brand, we work with top materials like L-Evropiana, Reda and the other is for men, but also for women. We have two lines, one is called ready to wear, the other is called ready to measure. Ready to wear is what you see in the store, which is ready, while to measure is a little more level where you have the opportunity to choose the size, the model, they make changes to them as desired, but you also have the opportunity to choose the button and others", said Mehmeti.

Mehmeti added that they also work in other countries with pop-up stores, where they visit clients in different places such as Dubai, Marbella, Italy, Germany and other countries.

"For several years we have been working in other countries, where they hold Trunk shows or Pop up stores, where customers visit different places like Dubai, Marbella and other places. The brand was founded in Sweden in Stockholm, we work only with Italian Premium Fabrics, but we want to bring the Albanian Touch with our experience and inspire the new generation," he said.

The other owner, Besim Shylemaja, said that their goal in the future is to create a strong local brand for the diaspora.

"Our goal is to start with a leading office in Kosovo, but in the future we also aim to do another production, to start with a small production, then we want to produce shirts and suits in Kosovo. Our goal is to have a very strong Kosovar brand in the future for the expatriates who are abroad, to be satisfied, and then a suit that has our brand, that is what we want and we will work for that and we will get there soon," he said.

Shylemaja said that Navy Suits will be in a high-end market, but consumers do not need to go to foreign countries to buy them, as now they have the opportunity in the heart of Pristina.

"We want to reach a market where there is a high level, a brand that is premium. We know that no one in Kosovo produces them and sells them, we are the ones who do not need Albanians to go to foreign countries to buy these suits, they can buy them directly in Pristina and from Albanian manufacturers," said Shylemaja.

All fans of Italian-made suits with an Albanian touch can visit the "Navy Suits" store in the center of Pristina.
