Business

The General Director of ISSH, Astrit Hado, and Valeria Vittimberga, General Director of INPS, signed today in Tirana a technical agreement for the electronic exchange of applicable forms, within the framework of implementing the Social Security Agreement between the Republic of Albania and the Italian Republic, which came into effect on July 1, 2025.

For the first time, under the agreement with Italy, the forms will be exchanged electronically, reducing the transmission time of documentation for granting benefits, CE Report quotes ATA.

This agreement aims to facilitate and accelerate administrative procedures between the competent social security institutions of both countries, enabling the secure and efficient exchange of benefit applications in both countries electronically.

The signing of this document represents another concrete step in the full implementation of the bilateral agreement, aiming to guarantee the rights of citizens who have worked and contributed both in Albania and in Italy.
