Electricity Compensation for Businesses
A total of 556 companies have received compensation for electricity costs incurred in January, February, and part of March 2025, amounting to 24.5 million lei. The Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization (MDED) announced the data today, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES
Entrepreneurs can receive up to 50% compensation for increased electricity tariffs, with the program continuing throughout the year.
Applications for energy compensation can be submitted online through the EVO application or MCabinet, which now includes a new compensation module. Applicants can track their application status from submission to payment.
Launched in January 2025, the program aims to ease the financial burden on businesses and is supported by a 300 million lei budget funded by the European Union.
