Tesla's Sales in Europe Plunge by 45% in January

Tesla's vehicle sales in Europe saw a sharp decline of 45.2% in January compared to the previous year, according to data from the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA), CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency

The US-based EV giant sold 9,945 units last month, down from 18,161 in January 2024 across the EU, the European Free Trade Association (EFTA), and the UK. In the EU alone, sales dropped by 50.3% to 7,517 units.

Despite Tesla’s slump, overall battery electric vehicle sales in the EU surged by 34% to 124,341 units, and by 37.3% when including EFTA and the UK.
