State Offers Tariff Compensation for Agricultural and Processing Enterprises

Business

Agricultural producers, processors, and businesses in the processing industry will receive state compensations to help mitigate rising electricity tariffs. The list of eligible beneficiaries is outlined in a recent decision by the Commission for Emergency Situations (CSE), according to Economic Development and Digitalization Minister Dumitru Alaiba, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

To support businesses during this transition, a tariff compensation mechanism was introduced by the CSE.

“We will compensate half of the tariff increase, allowing companies time to adapt,” Minister Alaiba explained. He added that the application process would be straightforward, with eligible businesses able to request compensation through EVO or MCabinet platforms.

This initiative aims to provide relief to key industries, ensuring their resilience in the face of rising energy costs.
