Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup to return to Türkiye during 2027 Formula 1 Grand Prix

The Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup will return to Türkiye as part of the Formula 1 Turkish Grand Prix weekend, scheduled for October 1–3, 2027, at TOSFED Istanbul Park.

According to a statement from the Turkish Automobile Sports Federation (TOSFED), the one-make racing championship, in which Turkish driver Ayhancan Güven competed for three seasons, will once again be held in Türkiye, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency.

With the addition of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, Istanbul Park will host three support racing series during the Formula 1 weekend, alongside Formula 2 and Formula 3.

TOSFED President Eren Üçlertoprağı said the federation was continuing its efforts to deliver an enhanced experience for motorsport fans.

He expressed satisfaction at bringing the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup back to Türkiye alongside the Formula 2 and Formula 3 championships.

“We are delighted to bring the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup back to our country alongside the F2 and F3 series,” Üçlertoprağı said.

He noted that Türkiye would be among only five countries hosting all three support championships during the 2027 Formula 1 season.

“In the 2027 F1 race weekend, we will be one of five countries to host all three support series: F2, F3 and Porsche,” he stated.

Üçlertoprağı also highlighted that Istanbul would host the season finales of both Formula 3 and the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, adding further significance to the race weekend.

He invited motorsport enthusiasts from Türkiye and international visitors to attend the event.

“We already invite racing fans from our country and all our international guests to TOSFED Istanbul Park for a weekend filled with exciting races,” he said.

The addition of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup will expand the racing program at Istanbul Park, offering spectators a weekend featuring Formula 1 and three international support championships.
