Baku-based Moldovan embassy warns citizens to avoid Iran
The Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in the Islamic Republic of Iran, based in Baku, warns Moldovan citizens to avoid any travel to Iran due to rising internal tensions and security risks in the region, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES.
According to the source, those already in Iran are advised to contact the Embassy by phone or email to report their location in case of an urgent evacuation.
As reported by CE Report, citizens can leave Iran by air via regular flights or by land through Turkey or Armenia. However, the land border with Azerbaijan remains closed, and evacuation through Azerbaijani territory requires prior authorization from local authorities.
