
Kosovo Tourism Union received Balkan awards of tourism industry
In a competition featuring associations and companies from across the region and beyond, the Kosovo Tourism Union was awarded first place in the category of Best Performing Tourism Association in the Balkans 2024 by the Balkan Awards of Tourism Industry 2024, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.
According to the union, this award holds significant importance, especially as it recognizes the work and contributions of the Kosovo Tourism Union (KTU) on an international level.
“Being recognized as the best-performing tourism association in the Balkans is a highly positive image not only for the union but also for the state of Kosovo itself. Congratulations to all union members, the tourism industry, and the state of Kosovo. Furthermore, three members of the union from the hospitality and travel agency sectors were selected as the best in their fields,” the announcement stated.
As part of the activities at the event, the President of the Kosovo Tourism Union, Baki Hoti, met with Bulgaria’s Deputy Minister of Tourism, Pavlin Petrov. Hoti expressed gratitude for Bulgaria's continued support of the Republic of Kosovo across all sectors, including tourism.
Additionally, Hoti held discussions with counterparts from participating countries to explore opportunities for strengthening cooperation in the tourism sector.
