Kosovo president hands flag to Olympic skiers
The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, announced that she has handed over the flag of the Republic of Kosovo to skiers Kiana Kryeziu and Drin Kokaj, who will represent Kosovo at the “Milano–Cortina 2026” Winter Olympic Games, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.
“Today I handed over the flag of the Republic of Kosovo to our skiers, Kiana Kryeziu and Drin Kokaj, who will represent our country with dignity at the Milano–Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games, with confidence, dedication and pride in our state,” Osmani wrote, also sharing a video of the flag handover moment.
She wished them success and encouraged them to raise the flag of Kosovo high.
