Karim Benzema returns to Real Madrid?
Karim Benzema has reopened the scenario of a possible return to Real Madrid. In an interview for “AS”, the Al-Ittihad striker once again expressed his unconditional love for the club where he made history and hinted that a comeback is not impossible.
“Real Madrid will always be my team, it is the best club in the world. It has always been and always will be,” declared the Frenchman.
Asked about the possibility of returning, Benzema did not deny such a scenario—quite the opposite, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.
“Return? If Florentino Pérez were to call me, I could never say ‘no’. He is special, he is a leader: he does an excellent job,” added the 36-year-old.
His statements immediately created a stir among Madrid fans, who consider Benzema one of the most important players in the club’s history. The striker left the Santiago Bernabéu in the summer of 2023 after 14 seasons, but his latest words seem to keep alive the dream of a sensational return.
