Albania women’s team to face Türkiye ahead of League B campaign

After their success in the play-out phase of the UEFA Nations League against Cyprus, where the Albanian women’s national team secured their place in League B, the Albanian squad will play two friendly matches against Türkiye.

As part of close cooperation between the Albanian Football Association (FSHF) and the Turkish Football Federation, it has been agreed that both matches will take place in Istanbul on November 28 and December 1, CE Report quotes ATA.

The first match will be held at the “Necmi Kadıoğlu” Stadium on November 28 at 14:00, while the second will take place at the same time on December 1 at the “Yusuf Ziya Öniş” Stadium.

Türkiye is considered a direct rival for the Albanian national team. For these friendlies, the coaching staff aims to bring in several young players of Albanian origin who play abroad.
