Lamine Yamal targets Shakira and Piqué’s mansion for new residence

Lamine Yamal frequently makes headlines — both for his performances on the pitch and his personal life.

Recently, the 18-year-old Spanish forward for Barcelona sparked discussion after El Clásico — both due to provocations from Real Madrid players and his performance in the 2–1 defeat, CE Report quotes ANA-MPA.

He also grabbed media attention for reportedly being ready to purchase the former home of singer Shakira and ex-Barcelona defender Gerard Piqué. The luxurious property, valued at around €11 million, appeals to the player for its comfort and security.

According to El Periódico, Yamal recently faced a security incident. He reportedly felt that someone had tried to break into his apartment. After investigation, police concluded it was a false alarm, as there were no signs of burglary or theft. Nevertheless, the incident affected Yamal psychologically, and since then he has wanted to move.

As expected, Barcelona’s management reacted by activating enhanced security protocols for the young star.
