The Globe Soccer Awards is a ceremony that awards awards that recognize achievements in football. The event is organized by Globe Soccer and includes the participation of international football organizations such as UEFA, UAE Pro League, ECA (European Club Association) and EFAA (European Football Agents Association).

This event is held every year in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, but it could soon be held in Albania. At least that's what the Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania, Edi Rama, has announced, who has revealed details on Facebook about how this can be achieved, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

Rama has even said that the talented and currently in-form footballer, Spain and Barcelona star Lamine Yamal, could also land in Tirana.

"We are in a final discussion to bring to Tirana, to Albania, but 95 percent in Tirana because we have also discussed Durrës and Vlora as options, the European edition of the Globe Soccer Award, that is, the football globe award. It is an extraordinary event that is held annually regarding its global edition in Dubai and for the European edition the organizers are in discussion with Madrid and with us here in Albania. We have many reasons to believe that the choice will fall on us, it will be fantastic that we can give the award for the best footballer of the year from Globe Soccer to Lamine Yamali here in Tirana," said Rama.

The annual ceremony of this event is attended by international football players, coaches and celebrities.
