Bulgarian athletes claimed eight medals — four gold, three silver, and one bronze — at the World Calisthenics Championships, held in Asics Arena, CE Report quotes BTA

Jasmina Svilenova dominated the women’s freestyle, winning both the middleweight and overall titles. In men’s freestyle, Stefan Eroteev took silver in the middleweight division.

In the basics discipline (muscle-ups, weighted pull-ups, and dips), Petar Simeonov (lightweight) and Andrey Andreev (heavyweight) won gold, while Stoyan Banov and Teodor Rusev earned silver. Atanas Atanasov added a bronze.

Czech athlete Tomas Pospisil topped the men’s overall rankings. The event, hosted by Bulgaria for the first time, gathered participants from 60 countries.
