LeBron James Becomes First NBA Player to Reach 50,000 Career Points

Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James made history Tuesday night, becoming the first NBA player to reach 50,000 combined points in the regular season and playoffs, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency

The 40-year-old reached the milestone with a three-pointer early in the Lakers' 136-115 win over the New Orleans Pelicans at Crypto.com Arena. James led his team with 34 points, eight rebounds, and six assists.

“I'm super blessed to be able to put that many points up in the best league in the world with the best players in the world,” James said after the game.

Already the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, James continues to add to his legacy in his 22nd season. He is currently averaging 25.9 points, 8 rebounds, and 8.5 assists per game.
