Thanks to his second place in the parallel giant in Krynica, Italy's Maurizio Bormolini has won the snowboarding World Cup.

In the second challenge of the Polish stage of the Cup, the final act of the season, the Livigno native lost the final to the Austrian Andreas Prommegger, CE Report quotes ANSA.

But after having secured the specialty cup he was still able to celebrate the success also in the overall ranking.
