Saudi Arabia has been officially announced as the host of the 2034 FIFA World Cup, marking the second time a Middle Eastern country will organize the prestigious tournament, following Qatar in 2022, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency

Matches will take place across 15 stadiums in five cities: Riyadh, Jeddah, Khobar, Abha, and Neom. The 2034 World Cup will also debut the expanded 48-team format.

2030 World Cup to Be Shared by Multiple Nations

The 2030 FIFA World Cup will feature joint hosting by Morocco, Portugal, and Spain, with special centenary celebration matches held in Uruguay, Argentina, and Paraguay to honor the tournament's 100-year history.

The FIFA World Cup, held every four years since 1930 (except during World War II), remains the pinnacle of international men’s football.
