Serbs in Kosovo face 'terrible terror', says Vučić
Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić said in Martin Brod that Serbs in Kosovo are being subjected to "terrible terror" and that authorities in Pristina "invent something against them every day."
He claimed, "the world remains silent about the suffering of Orthodox Christians because they created it themselves," Beta reported, CE Report quotes FENA.
"But no one's candle—not even those of the people terrorizing our people in Kosovo—burned until dawn," Vučić said during a visit to the Rmanj Monastery in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where he was welcomed by Bishop Sergije.
He stressed that Serbs should not be given geographical labels that further divide them, saying that "there are no Bosnian Serbs or Croatian Serbs, there are only Serbs."
"We are all Serbs. We may live in different countries, but that does not mean we want to seize anyone else's borders, nor are we interested in that today. What interests us is preserving our national unity," Vučić said.
He added, "We are Serbs. There is no difference between Bishop Sergije, Father Slaviša from Kupres, myself, or anyone else. We are simply Serbs—nothing more, but nothing less."
Vučić also warned governments and media outlets in the region that "if they continue using pejorative expressions to divide the Serbian people, we will behave in the same way toward them," according to the statement.
