Trump warns Republicans over 2026 midterms
U.S. President Donald Trump said that Republicans “must” win the 2026 midterm elections or Democrats will impeach him, CE Report quotes AGERPRES.
“You have to win the midterms because if we don’t win them, they’ll simply — I mean, they’ll find a reason to impeach me,” Trump told a meeting of Republican lawmakers in Washington. “I will be impeached,” he insisted.
As reported by CE Report, Trump’s agenda will be at stake in the November elections, when all seats in the House of Representatives and one third of the seats in the Senate will be up for grabs, Reuters notes.
