Nobel Peace Prize laureate reappears in public after 11 months
The Nobel Peace Prize laureate Maria Corina Machado has appeared in public again, 11 months after her last appearance.
The Venezuelan politician greeted supporters from the balcony of her hotel in Oslo, where she arrived a few hours ago, CE Report quotes ANSA.
Having arrived too late for the award ceremony, Machado nevertheless received the recognition in absentia. Her last public appearance dates back to January 9 of last year, in Caracas, during a protest held on the occasion of Nicolas Maduro’s inauguration for his third presidential term.
