Israel outlines current and future Gaza operations

The Chief of Staff of the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), Eyal Zamir, has approved the overall framework of the IDF’s operational plan in the Gaza Strip.

The IDF announced this on its Telegram channel, CE Report quotes ANSA.

During the discussion, the IDF’s actions to date were presented, including operations in the Zeitoun area that began yesterday.

Furthermore, the IDF explained that the central concept of the plan for the upcoming phases in the Gaza Strip was presented and approved, in accordance with political-level directives.

The Chief of Staff emphasized "the importance of increasing troop readiness and preparation for reserve recruitment, while ensuring adequate time for reorganization and recovery ahead of upcoming missions."
