Bolotnicov Seeks Election Bid
The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) of Moldova has received a request to register an initiative group backing Oleg Bolotnicov, who plans to run as an independent candidate in the upcoming parliamentary elections on September 28, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES
To qualify, independent candidates must collect between 2,000 and 2,500 signatures from eligible voters, while female candidates need at least 1,000. The deadline for candidate registration is August 19.
