Voters Urged to Update Residence by Sept. 3
Citizens who have changed their residence since the last elections must declare their new address by 3 September 2025 to vote locally in the upcoming parliamentary elections on 28 September.
Government spokesperson Daniel Vodă urged voters: “Have you moved? Declare your new residence by 3 September to vote where you live.”
Declarations can be submitted at local town halls or public administration offices. The Central Electoral Commission notes that voters must present an identity document, after which their new residence will be registered, and a receipt issued, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES
The declaration applies only for this election and will automatically remove the previous registration.
