Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popșoi met with U.S. Charge d’Affaires Kevin Covert to discuss strengthening Moldova-U.S. ties, sectoral cooperation, and shared development goals. Popșoi thanked the U.S. for its consistent support and praised the impact of American-backed projects on Moldovan citizens. Covert reaffirmed the U.S. commitment to Moldova’s European path and ongoing democratic reforms.
