Responding to concerns about the rule of law, he highlighted the European Commission’s latest report as proof of progress, particularly in justice, legislation, and media freedom. Marinakis noted that the recent bill on press freedom, introduced by him, received recognition in the report—though it was only supported by the New Democracy Parliamentary Group.
