Romania Supports Moldova Ahead of Elections

Romanian Senate President Mircea Abrudean voiced strong support for Moldova’s democratic and European aspirations during a meeting with Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu in Bucharest, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

Abrudean emphasized that Moldova’s upcoming parliamentary elections, scheduled for next September, will be crucial for the country’s pro-European future. He reaffirmed Romania’s commitment to backing Moldova’s efforts toward democracy, unity, and EU integration, and highlighted ongoing bilateral infrastructure projects.
