Greek Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis met with Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar and his family in Benghazi on Sunday to discuss key regional and bilateral issues, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonia

According to Gerapetritis, talks focused on migration, maritime zones, and strengthening Greek-Libyan relations. He emphasized the historical ties between the two nations and their shared commitment to international law and regional stability.

“We aim for a Mediterranean of peace and prosperity,” he said, expressing hope for concrete progress in bilateral ties soon.
