Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu announced that Liuba Sova and Nicolae Rosca will be nominated by Parliament for a new term as judges at the Constitutional Court. Both currently serve on the Court and are considered professionally qualified for reappointment, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

Later in the day, Prime Minister Dorin Recean stated that the government will propose Domnica Manole and Sergiu Litvinenco for the same role at its next meeting.

The Constitutional Court, composed of six judges, is undergoing renewal as the terms of five current judges near expiration. Appointments are made equally by Parliament, the government, and the Superior Council of Magistracy.
