Turkey, Jordan Talk Israel-Iran Strikes
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a phone call with Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi to discuss Israel’s ongoing attacks on Iran, Turkish diplomatic sources said Wednesday, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency
The conversation comes amid rapidly rising regional tensions. Since last Friday, Israeli airstrikes on Iranian military and nuclear sites triggered retaliatory missile attacks from Tehran.
At least 585 people in Iran have been killed and over 1,300 injured. In Israel, 24 people have died and hundreds have been wounded in the counterattacks.
