Elon Musk Regrets Social Media Feud with Donald Trump

Politics

After tensions and clashes on social media between U.S. President Donald Trump and billionaire Elon Musk, the latter has taken a step back today by apologizing for some of his posts about Trump, CE Report quotes Kosova Press.

In a post on X, Musk wrote, "I’m sorry for some of my posts about President Donald Trump last week. They went too far," but did not specify which posts he was referring to.

Trump and Musk began exchanging insults last week on social media following the comprehensive tax and spending bill. Musk called the bill "disgusting." Trump said on Saturday that their relationship was over, but since then, he has said he wouldn’t mind if Musk called him to wish him well.

Tesla shares in Frankfurt rose by 2.44% following Musk’s post.

Since the disagreement began, Musk has deleted several social media posts criticizing Trump, including one signaling support for the president’s impeachment. Sources close to Musk said his anger was fading and that they believed he might want to repair his relationship with Trump.
