
Mitsotakis at Career Day
Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis visited the 44th "Career Day" hosted by the Public Employment Service (DYPA) in Peristeri on Friday, touring around 230 company booths and engaging with job seekers and business representatives, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonian
He praised the initiative, highlighting its role in helping over 10,000 people find employment through similar events in Greece and abroad, including Amsterdam, Dusseldorf, and London, with Stuttgart next on the agenda.
Labor Minister Niki Kerameus and DYPA Governor Spyros Protopsaltis emphasized strong government backing and the wide reach of the program, having held events in 18 cities over the past 3.5 years.
Earlier, Mitsotakis visited a DYPA-supported local café run by two young siblings, commending them for turning unemployment into entrepreneurship.
