Moldova-Denmark EU Dialogue

Moldova remains optimistic about its EU accession, with strong backing from Denmark, said Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mihai Popșoi. During a meeting with Moldova’s Honorary Consul in Denmark, Asser Mortensen, and representatives of the European Movement in Denmark, Popșoi emphasized the excellent bilateral relations and recent progress, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

He recalled his May 12–13 official visit to Copenhagen, where he held productive talks with Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen. Danish pro-European advocates voiced support for Moldova’s EU path and engagement in its democratic development.

Discussions also covered expanding economic and cultural ties, including tourism, education, and cultural exchange.
