
Greece Unveils 10 Health System Reforms
Prime Minister of Greece has introduced ten key measures to enhance the public health system, government spokesperson Pavlos Marinakis announced during a Thursday press briefing. The plan includes expanding medical staff, upgrading infrastructure, and launching prevention initiatives, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonian
Marinakis highlighted the recent addition of a cutting-edge aircraft to the EKAB emergency fleet, donated by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, which the Prime Minister inspected upon returning from a summit in Rome.
He also emphasized new legislation aligning building regulations with court rulings, aiming to boost development while ensuring legal clarity and environmental protection.
Additional updates include immediate implementation of university safety reforms and the opening of a subsidy application platform for businesses affected by electricity costs from December 2024 to February 2025.
