Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday, expressing Türkiye's readiness to help prevent further escalation between India and Pakistan following recent cross-border violence, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency

According to the Turkish Communications Directorate, Erdogan conveyed condolences for victims of the May 6 attack and praised Pakistan's calm response. He supported Islamabad’s call for a neutral international probe into the April 22 incident in Jammu and Kashmir.

Pakistan claims at least 26 civilians were killed in India’s “Operation Sindoor,” while India said it struck terrorist infrastructure.
