
Erdogan, Trump Discuss Global Issues in Call
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan described his phone call with former U.S. President Donald Trump as “very productive, comprehensive, and sincere.”
In a statement on X, Erdogan said they discussed a range of global and regional issues, including the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, Syria, the Russia-Ukraine war, and Iran-U.S. relations, CE Report quotes Anadolu Agency
Both leaders expressed a desire to strengthen cooperation in defense and trade.
Erdogan praised Trump’s efforts to end global conflicts and said Turkey is ready to support regional peace.
He also voiced hope for an in-person meeting soon, noting mutual invitations to visit each other's countries.
