Acting Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci, denies reports that he has declared Bulgaria's accession to the Kosovo defense agreement with Albania and Croatia. Meanwhile, in an interview for KosovaPress, the acting Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci says that on March 18, the day the trilateral agreement was signed, the Croatian Prime Minister mentioned the possibility of the Bulgarian state joining this military alliance.

Meanwhile, Bulgarian Foreign Minister Georg Georgiev has reacted to this, saying that the information that Bulgaria has expressed unofficial interest in the Declaration on Strengthening Cooperation in the Field of Defense between Kosovo, Croatia and Albania is incorrect, reports the Bulgarian News Agency. IT.

"I have never said that I had contacts with Bulgaria. The Croatian Prime Minister has had contacts with Bulgaria, who gave an interview in Večernji list on March 18, the day we signed the trilateral agreement, where he says that [we have a communication with Bulgaria about a possible accession of Bulgaria to this trilateral agreement]. Otherwise, we are open to any country that shares common values ​​with these three countries, but also with common interests with our three countries... A month ago, Kosovo, Albania and Croatia signed a trilateral declaration on cooperation in the field of defense. The signing took place in Tirana by the Albanian Minister of Defense, Pirro Vengu, and the Kosovo Minister of Defense, Ejup Maqedonci and the minister from Croatia, Ivan Anusic.

In addition, in the interview for KosovaPress, Maqedonci comments on Serbia's statements that there is no peace in Kosovo.

He says that Serbia continues to be the source of instability and security threats in the Western Balkans region.

Maqedonci emphasizes that Serbia is promoting hegemonic policy in relation to its neighbors, including Kosovo.

He adds that this state is still supporting terrorist groups that have continuously violated the security of our country.

A few days ago, Serbia's new Prime Minister, Gjuro Matsut, while reading his government program in parliament, said that one of the biggest challenges of the new government will be the so-called protection of sovereignty and territorial integrity in Kosovo.

According to him, peace in Kosovo is impossible without justice, while he claimed that he will accept that the dialogue between the two states be conducted openly, honestly and without pressure.
