Eugen Carpov Appointed as ANRE Board Director

On February 27, MPs appointed Eugen Carpov as director of the Board of Directors of the National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE). His candidacy was approved by 55 deputies, and he will serve a six-year term starting March 6, 2025, CE Report quotes MOLDPRES

Carpov was selected following a public competition organized by the Economy, Budget, and Finance Commission, where he outperformed 13 other candidates. Holding a law degree, he has been with ANRE since 2019.

Additionally, Parliament confirmed the termination of Veaceslav Untilă's mandate as ANRE Board director.

The ANRE Board of Directors consists of five members, appointed by Parliament through competition.
