Greek government spokesman Pavlos Marinakis condemned an attack on the home of newly elected President Constantine Tassoulas, calling it an act of "the worst version of fascism." The incident occurred on the day of Tassoulas' election and involved slogans of hatred, but Marinakis emphasized that it would not intimidate democratic citizens, CE Report quotes Athens-Macedonian

He also criticized the opposition for using "toxic tactics" and urged them to consider the consequences of their approach, particularly in the context of a national tragedy.
